About IQAC
As per the NAAC guidelines, on 1st June, 2015 Internal Quality Assurance Cell was constituted in the Institute. The cell is conceived as a mechanism to build and ensure a quality culture in the institution. To accomplish the objectives manifested by NAAC, IQAC has been dedicatedly engrossed to achieve it. Observance of quality enhancement, channelization of dedication towards academic excellence and modification and adoption of the best suitable system to perk up work culture in the institute consistently and continuously are the primary aims and functions of the IQAC.
Due to the apt guidance of the Management, great leadership of Principal, Dr. Kranti Deshmukh, and dedication, devotion and sincere efforts of Teachers, Staff of Administration and precious cooperation of the student, Marathwada Mitra Mandal’s Shankarrao Chavan Law College, Pune in the first cycle in 2018 has been awarded ‘A’ Grade by NAAC.
Objectives
IQAC shall continuously strive to achieve the following objectives for the holistic development of the institute.
- To assure observance of highest quality standards in academic and administrative performance of the institution.
- To work consistently towards the enhancement of quality through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
- To develop a system that will contribute towards the quality up gradation of the overall performance of the institution and evolve mechanism for it.

Functions
- Development and application of quality benchmarks
- Setting standards for various academic and administrative activities of the institution;
- Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process
- Collection and analysis of feedback from all stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes;
- Suggestion to organize inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles;
- Maintenance of Documentation of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement
- Preparation and submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC.

In order to set a standard and produce better outcomes, our college had adopted the following best practices:
- Letter of Intent signed with Lublin University of Technology, Lublin, Poland; Silesian University of Technology, Gliwice, Poland; University of Opole, Poland.
- Sahajeevan Puraskar
- SCLC Youth Summit, 2026 - Youth Parliament and Model United Nations.
- International Conference on Human Rights in Armed Conflict: Asian-European Perspectives, in collaboration with the Indo-European Education Foundation, Poland, with associate partners including University of Opole (Poland) and Hochschule Mittweida University of Applied Sciences (Germany).
