I am deeply grateful to MMSCLC for the invaluable learning experience I gained through CLART during my law school years. The comprehensive and practical nature of courses like Contract Drafting, Crime Investigation and Trial and Arbitration – Law and Practice has significantly enhanced my legal acumen and prepared me for the challenges of professional practice.
The rigorous training in contract drafting has equipped me with the ability to analyze complex legal documents, identify potential pitfalls, and draft precise and legally sound agreements. The practical insights gained from the Crime Investigation and Trial course have sharpened my skills in courtroom advocacy, witness examination, and effective argumentation. Additionally, the Arbitration – Law and Practice course has provided me with a deep understanding of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, enabling me to navigate complex legal disputes efficiently.
The knowledge and skills acquired through CLART served a strong foundation for my legal career. I am truly indebted to MMSCLC for providing me with such a valuable opportunity to hone my legal abilities and prepare for a successful future in the legal profession.
Adv. Chandrlekha Deshmukh
I had a great experience taking the Certificate Course ‘Crime Investigation and Trial’ conducted by the Centre for Advanced Legal Research and Training (CALRT) at my college.
The course provided a perfect balance of theory and practical learning, helping me understand Criminal Law in depth. Expert speakers shared their valuable knowledge that broadened my perspective on the subject. Activities like police station visits and group discussion made the learning more enriching.
The key highlight of the course is Final Mock Trial which gave a practical boost to the knowledge and helped me apply what I learned in real word setting.
This course is a must for students like me interested in Criminal Law as it not only builds foundational knowledge but also develops analytical skills needed in the field.

The Centre for Advanced Legal Research and Training (CALRT) at MMM’s Shankarrao Chavan Law College has been a cornerstone of my legal education, equipping me with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to navigate the multifaceted world of law. The Centre’s programs provided an exceptional foundation in legal research, drafting, and critical analysis, which have been instrumental throughout my journey.
The rigorous training and practical exposure at CALRT have been invaluable during my Master’s in Corporate and Commercial Law at a Russell Group University in London. The research methodologies and problem-solving techniques I learned at the Centre enabled me to approach complex legal issues with precision and confidence, allowing me to excel in my academic pursuits.
In addition, the knowledge and skills I gained at CALRT have directly impacted my professional experience. Currently working as a Paralegal, I frequently draw upon the principles and practices I learned at the Centre during my internships in the commercial and family law sectors. Whether drafting detailed legal documents, analyzing case laws, or collaborating on complex legal strategies, the practical insights provided by the Centre have been pivotal.
As I now aim to become a registered Solicitor in the United Kingdom, I remain deeply grateful for the guidance, mentorship, and opportunities provided by the Centre for Advanced Legal Research and Training. Its emphasis on fostering professionalism, critical thinking, and innovation has laid the foundation for my success, and I am proud to have been part of such an exceptional institution.
